Gorumara National Park
The Gorumara National Park is located in the Indian state of West Bengal. The park is known for the population of Indian Rhinoceros and is one of the best protected regions in the country. The park is situated in the Jalpaiguri district and is hone to numerous species of flora and fauna. At least 50 species of mammals, twenty-two species of reptiles, one hundred and ninety-four species of birds, twenty-seven species of fish and seven species of turtles have been found in the forests. Apart from the Indian Rhinoceros, the park is home to other mammals like Gaur, Asian Elephant, Chital, Sambar Deer, etc. and is a great place to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.
