The Eden Gardens are a famous cricket ground in the city of Kolkata in West Bengal. Established in the year 1864, the Eden Gardens are India's largest Cricket Stadium with a seating capacity of 66,349! The Eden Gardens are recognized as one of the world's most iconic cricket stadiums and have played host to several international cricket matches including the World Cup, Asia Cup, World T20, etc. The stadium owes its name to the gardens with the same name situated adjacent to the stadium, also one of Kolkata's oldest parks, named after the Eden sisters. The Eden Gardens are one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Kolkata - a definite must-visit while in the city!
