The Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the famous 16th-century churches of Old Goa where the mortal remains of ST Francis Xavier are retained. The main altar, surrounded by the other two altars, has Bom (infant) Jesus and a large statue of Saint Ignatius Loyola.
