The Lalbagh Botanical Garden is located in Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka state in India. It is also called the 'Red Garden', the literal translation in English. The Lalbagh is a very famous botanical garden in Bengaluru and was constructed by Hyder Ali, the King of Mysuru. On the second and fourth weekends, the Government of Karnataka organizes the Janapada Jaatre, which is a festival of folk dance, plays, and music from all parts of the state of Karnataka.
