The St. Paul's Cathedral is a situated in the city of Kolkata in the state of West Bengal. It is known for its Gothic architecture and is also the Diocese of Calcutta's seat. The St. Paul's Cathedral is considered to be Kolkata's largest cathedral. Major William Nairn Forbes and C. K. Robinson were the architects of the majestic Cathedral, which was completed in the year 1847. The Cathedral also houses a Library and is one of the most prominent tourist destinations of the city of Kolkata. It is considered to be Asia's first episcopal Church and also the first cathedral constructed overseas in the British Empire's territory.
