The Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the most important landmarks of the city of New Delhi, the capital of India. The structure is the official residence of the honorable President of India and is situated on the Rajpath. The building was formerly called the Viceroy's House. In 1950, the name was changed to the 'Rashtrapati Bhawan'.

The architect of the building is Edwin Lutyens. The Rashtrapati Bhawan was constructed using as many as 700 million bricks! It is built mostly in the European style of architecture. There are no windows on the front side of the building. There are 355 decorated rooms in the Bhawan.
