Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji Patna
The Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib ji Patna is a Gurudwara, the Sikh place of worship in the city of Patna. The Gurudwara was constructed to commemorate Guru Gobind Singh ji's birthplace - the Tenth Sikh Guru. The Gurudwara is ascribed to Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Sikh Empire's first king. Guru Gobind Singh ji is believed to have spent his early childhood years at this very place before he moved to Anandpur. The place was also visited by Guru Nanak ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur ji. The Gurudwara is a fine specimen of Sikh architecture and is one of the most important attractions in the city of Patna.
