Visiting Hogenakkal in 1997 was an amazing experience. There are multiple waterfalls to explore, ranging from treacherous ones to those suitable for bathing. To reach the prominent falls, a boat ride is necessary. In addition to marveling at the waterfalls, it is essential not to miss the opportunity to savor freshly fried fish available in the riverside market.

The palace is not big in size but great in terms of historic importance. Entry fee is cheap.
